Our Mission is to translate research into practice and to facilitate the development, delivery and convergence of healthcare education with performance improvement, in order to improve the quality, safety, and effectiveness of healthcare delivery.
1. Collaborate with the various stakeholders in healthcare, including medical educators, clinical research organizations, health plan organizations, pharmaceutical and device manufacturers, government entities, health systems, academic medical centers, medical societies and others, to bridge the quality gap.
2. Identify the gaps in knowledge and perceptions of healthcare stakeholders regarding the convergence of quality improvement and education, and develop collaborative strategies to meet those needs.
3. Provide translational research from healthcare industry, quality improvement and medical education data, to identify system-wide needs, gaps in knowledge and performance, and opportunities to close the quality gap, to enable stakeholders to deliver actionable solutions.
4. Create a framework for designing, developing, sequencing, and analyzing the results of performance improvement interventions and pathways, in order to disseminate best practices.
